THE PROCESS
A minimum 3-day application process. Non-negotiable for quality. Every project is completed with a 7–10 year warranty on application.
Substrate Assessment
Every project begins with a thorough assessment of the existing substrate. We identify moisture levels, surface condition, and structural integrity before a single coat is applied. This is non-negotiable — the quality of the finish depends entirely on what lies beneath it.
Surface Preparation
Preparation is where most applicators cut corners. We do not. Grinding, priming, and levelling are completed to exacting standards. Any imperfection in the substrate will telegraph through the finish — we eliminate them before we begin.
Multi-Coat Application
A minimum of 3 days of application. Multiple coats of microcement are applied by hand, each allowed to cure before the next is added. The layering process builds depth, strength, and the characteristic tactile quality that defines a premium microcement finish.
Sealing & Warranty
The final sealing system is selected based on the application — wet areas require a certified waterproof sealer, floors require a hardwearing traffic-grade system, external areas require superior UV protection. Every project is completed with a 7–10 year warranty on application.

Every Micro Cement King project is backed by a 7–10 year warranty on application. This is not a marketing promise — it is a reflection of the confidence we have in our substrate preparation, application process, and sealing systems. We do not offer this warranty lightly. We offer it because we know the work is right.
The warranty covers application integrity, adhesion, and finish quality. It does not cover damage caused by impact, chemical exposure beyond normal use, or failure to maintain the surface in accordance with our care guidelines — which we provide with every completed project.

Most microcement failures in Australia are not failures of the product — they are failures of preparation. Inadequate substrate assessment, insufficient priming, and rushed application timelines are the three most common causes of delamination, cracking, and finish failure.
Our 3-day minimum is not a commercial decision. It is a technical requirement. The microcement system requires adequate cure time between coats to achieve the mechanical bond and surface integrity that underpins our 7–10 year warranty. We will not compress this timeline for any client.
